About

I’m a wife to a good man, a mom of three, a grandmother of eight, a solo-entrepreneur, and I have an unwavering faith in God. Usually, you’ll find me on my computer finding ways to enrich the lives of my family, and friends.

As a wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, and home-based business owner, my life is full of chaos and the struggle is very real. As a new business owner I want to be able to present information that will help, heal, and inspire others on their journey.

At home I’m planning to relocate, and build my dream home for me and my little tribe. I love my family, and I very protective of them. Moms don’t care how old their children get, they will always be our babies.

I was raised through the school of hard knocks, and was blessed to come through it strong, self-aware, with humility, and my sanity. I’m thankful to have learned how to live on both sides of the track. As a kid watching my family, I learned how to stretch meals, budget, organize, to be respectful, giving, and to be kind to those less fortunate.

I learned how to fight, stand up for what is right. I learned how not to be defined by my circumstances or other people’s opinions of me. I learned how to be daring, and to just go for whatever I wanted in life, and never forgot where I came from, and always tried to reach back to help others.

I love helping people, even if its not reciprocated. Somehow I know I will be blessed in a way no human being could equate to.

About the blog

The Daily DEVA is a lifestyle blog with a focus on work, life, and balance. It’s during these times that gave me a fresh perspective on my life. I always wanted to be my own boss.

I wanted to have more time for myself, my goals, and to make more amazing memories with my family, and to help others.

This blog was birthed from a desire to be my own boss, never to be stifled, taken for granted, or hated on because I refuse the conformity of certain circles.

I want to encourage people who were bullied, ostracized, and undermined during their journey working at a 9 to 5. Have I experienced this? Absolutely, but I refused to take it. I clapped back HARD on those who came for me, and made the decision to start my own business.

I want a life of purpose, and grace, doing things that are pleasing to God, and to inspire my children. I have been fortunate enough to meet and love some amazing people on my journey, one introduced me to the opera, Madam Butterfly, and CATS on Broadway. One introduced me to quality time, and great conversations over the most delicious apple strudel that I have ever tasted!

These people taught me so much, in a short amount of time. It’s mind blowing how someone can leave an imprint on your life. Through the pages of this blog, you will find resources that will help to encourage you on your journey. My hopes are that I can leave a good imprint on your life as well.

It doesn’t matter what stage of life you are in. You are never to old to learn, or begin again. I had an aunt who graduated college with an associate’s as a Medical Laboratory Technician, and she was in her late 50’s. There is something for everyone here.

If you only find a good laugh here, I will be pleased to know I brought at smile to your face. Now get comfortable, grab a seat, your favorite decadent treat, (mines is white chocolate covered strawberries), and join me on this journey!
