Be a giver of a smile, a kind word, and inspiration.

When you love what you do it’s easy to accomplish because you’ll commit to it, and work hard for it. If you can make a way out of no way to get hair, and nails done, gamble, buy fancy clothes just to go nowhere, you can do it. If you have thousands of friends, and followers you must have people skills. You can do it.

If you are out there hustling everyday for something, you’re already creating a business, and taking all the risks. Apply that to something meaningful. The entrepreneur is commonly seen as an innovator, a source of new ideas, goods, service, and business.

“It’s one thing to be dipped in venom by those you don’t really care about, but when it’s by the person who is meant to love you, hold you, and take the sharp edges off the world, while teaching you with love, wisdom and warmth how to do it for yourself, it changes you. Appearances can be deceiving. Especially if people think they know what goes on behind closed doors. You are taught “what goes on in this house, stays in this house”. A lesson that could have the most devastating impact on your life. It’s a cycle that will repeat itself if you don’t talk to someone about it.

The problem with that is who do you talk to. Who do you speak your truth to? It could be the lovable grandparents, a favorite aunt or uncle. Maybe even a cousin who shares the same pain and know you are telling the truth. If you spill the tea to the wrong person, or relative you will find at times that you won’t be believed.

There are some people who would rather condemn, criticize, and judge you before they help you. They do this because it’s easier for them.

“Where ignorance is bliss, ’tis folly to be wise.” ~Thomas Gray~

Ignorance is a detestable state of mind. The more knowledge you have, the better equipped you are to deal with life. This is why I am always trying to read, learn, and try something new. When you realize that you were not put on this earth to be used, abused, and discarded you will take action to change yourself, your environment, and the people around you.

It takes a lot of mental, emotional, and physically strength to make the transition, but it is well worth it, and you will be better off for it. Another thing, stop caring about what other people think or say. If these are people who are not contributing to your mental, emotional, spiritual, or financial growth, their opinions don’t mean anything. Don’t let them rent space in her head.

If you have no one but God to talk to about your toxic parent, speak with him. Pray for the parent, don’t worry about the misconceptions of others. I personally found this article insightful, and helpful. Sometimes you have to find information that will help you to understand what’s going on around you, and why.
